Just checking up here to see if anyone actually did get a payment in September. I already e-mailed support and they told me the stores are late, which I know they often are. But all stores?? How could every store be late? So now I'm waiting for next Wednesday to see if a payment comes through or if there's still nothing.

So I got to thinking to check if everyone else is in the same waiting boat as I.

We've got a 2nd Wednesday in October coming up next week, let's see what happens then.

Did you mean payments for September sales? You know that they aren't even due until mid November, right? Or did you mean accounting in September for sales in July? Not sure which you meant.

Hiya Peter. Nah, I actually meant a payment in September. I know the sales data is several months off.

I know a few stores are late for September but I got paid from most of mine. Itunes actually came in a week early. Wish that would happen this month, I need the money haha.

About what time does today's accounting go online? I got a $2.10 payment yesterday, so if the accounting is already posted then something is seriously wrong with my royalty payments for the past two months.

Hey,


I received July payment (in september) and requested payment via check on Sept. 8 but I have not yet received it, is that normal?

Also received my August (October) payment and requested it via paypal on the 13th but I have not received that in my paypal account either, the FAQ says within 24 hours, is that also normal to take that long?

I always withdraw via PayPal and for 3 years it was always within 24 hours until now. Last time I withdrew it took a little bit longer, something like 2-3 days. For me that's ok, I can wait two days or so, a week or more though would be a bit much.

Skitzoflows, only payment I received this month was from Rhapsody. Things are surely going odd now. What was smooth, steady, and on point for years is starting to change. Last month I hadn't gotten any payment so I e-mail support and was told stores were late. I posted this thread up and within 2 days 3 song sales popped up into my account... but they were listed under October when it was still September. So now it's end of October and for 2 full months I've received 3 song sales and one month of Rhapsody streaming sales. So, basically around one months pay in two months time. I'm glad someone else finally asked about this. I thought it strange to get so few replies here when Tunecore has so many members.

Things may be a shade bumpy as we implement the new system. We're trying to impose order on a chaotic problem--stores report at different times, and are frequently late. It's even more confusing because, as you know, a month's report reflects sales from two (sometimes even three!) months before. And it's also not cleanly on the month for some stores.

Consider this all-too-common problem: sales from the end of July might appear on the August report that should have come in in October but is late and won't come in until November!

So while we fight to keep things as even, predictable and intuitive as possible, it can be tricky. Thanks for hanging with us!

Well, as of this morning everything seems to have righted itself. Now have the two months of Rhapsody payments as well as 4 song purchases from Rhapsody and everything seems to be back on track. I guess the main problem was indeed Rhapsody paying late.
