To me is sounds like Tuncore could do with picking up these points an meet with Amazon to discuss what can be done to improve things:

1) Better quality printing/packaging
2) More templates available
3) More options of packaging
4) Tuncore Liner notes included in booklet
5) More flexibilty on sizeable orders by artist/record label for promo/gigs/stocking other stores

@LHPRecords - you really ask too much of Tunecore. I mean, they can't possibly have the man power to provide everything everyone asks of them nor oversee the outcome of everyone's project. That's the cold hard truth of being an independent musician. It's not like we're on a label that's putting a few million into our first release and making sure everything is just right for us. The problem also is Tunecore isn't doing everything themselves and the other companies, such as Amazon, view Tunecore as just another Vendor/Customer. I'm sure they roll their eyes if Tunecore calls to complain about someone's inserts not being cut perfectly even.

Trust me, in heart I am with you. I recently had CD's made through the Tunecore manufacturing program (they use Cycle Software) and was saddened with the results. They weren't terrible, just a big let down. But I understand the situation and how hard Tunecore is trying to offer us low cost quality services etc. Sometimes however it sucks. Tunecore is doing the best they can.

Maybe one day they will be all you want them to be, but it definitely is going to take some time.

Rev I understand what you are saying but.....

1) This is more of a compilation of comments/suggestions
2) If it be Tunecore, Amazon or whoever if you are not giving good quality people will either not use your service and/or look elsewhere
3) I am not expecting the situation to change overnight

Bottom line if you dont ask you dont get and if you dont speak up everyone just carries on as normal not realising there are problems

You people probably already know about Audiolife but they offer on demand services as well. You can order CD's or T-shirts from them in bulk as well as designing them right there on the site.

The 'Reverb Store' on Reverb Nation is done with Audiolife.

The only reason I don't look into using them at the moment though is because they don't currently offer Paypal as a method of payment, which is annoying.

Someone on here might find them useful though
